How much is a portrait session?
There are several different kinds of sessions, which you can read about here. The most popular sessions are the Family Session and the Mini Session. The Family Session is about an hour in length and produces about 50-70 proofs from which you can order. The cost is $125 and requires a $250 minimum order in addition to the $125 session fee. A Mini Session is about 20 minutes in length and produces about 20 proofs. The cost is $250, which includes three digital files. Extended family groups are an additional $25 per person after the first six people.
What is a Digital File?
A digital file is one image from your gallery in digital format. From this digital file, you can print unlmited copies and sizes, use in cards, as well as share online with family and friends.
Are the digital files included with the session?
No, however digital files are available for purchase.
What time of day should I have my session?
If it is at the beach, we will meet 45 minutes before sunset (family session) or 20 minutes before sunset (mini session). If we are at a park, we will meet appromiately two hours before sunset. Morning or afternoon sessions at the beach are not recommended because of the harsher lighting at these times of day.
Where should I have my session?
Sessions can be done at any Naples location. The preferred beach is Miramar Beach, at 2700 Gulf Shore Blvd N and thepreferred park is Vineyards Park, 6231 Arbor Blvd W. Travel fees apply for locations outside of Naples.
Are the photos edited?
All photos in your gallery are print-ready and have been fully edited for color, contrast, exposure, etc, to achieve the look Savor Photography is known for. Edits that include slimming, fixing hair, whitening teeth, face retouching, or changing the background are available for an additional fee of $10/image.
Can I bring my dog?
Naples beaches do not permit dogs. Dogs are welcome at park sessions.
What should I wear?
The best look with Savor Photography’s style is light colors that echo the sunset, such as whites, light pinks, light blues, light orange, etc. While each family has personal preference, we recommend wearing coordinating colors, mixed and matched throughout the group. It is best to avoid stripes and tight clothing. Wrinkles will show in photos, so it would be beneficial to change into wrinkle -prone clothing after arrival.
How can I prepare my children?
Many parents are apprehensive about the time of the shoot as it is often past bedtime when at the beach. It’s best to have a late nap and come with a fully belly, if possible. Please be sure the children have clean faces as retouching requires an additional fee. Bring along their favorite non-staining snack, toy, or music that they love. We will have fun and play during the session, so don’t worry about it!
How do I book?
Dates are reserved once session fee retainer payment and the portrait agreement are received. Session fees are non-refundable as your requested date will no longer be open to bookings. Dates remain open until payment and agreement are received.
What about rain?
In the event of rain, sessions will be rescheduled at no charge. If rescheduling is not an option, session fees will be refunded. Weather cancellations must be made at least one hour before the session time.
