What is the (un)Workshop?

The (un)Workshop is an intensive one day class geared towards new professionals or those ready to take it from hobbyist to pro.

What's so (un) about it?

With the amount of existing workshops already out there, I had a hard time calling my class a workshop! Although I come from a teaching background and have a lot to share, I also realize that we all have valuable insights and experiences and aim to create an environment conducive of learning from each other and all becoming better photographers!

Oh, and there's also the price. That's pretty (un), if you ask me! I've priced it to be affordable and accessible.

What material will be covered?

We'll cover exposure, manual shooting, lighting, setting up a shoot, interacting with clients, posing, and post-processing. The (un)Workshop also includes a mini shoot.

How is the day laid out?

The workshop is from 9am-5pm. We'll be in the classroom from 9-12, break for lunch (on your own) from 12-1, be on location for a mini session from 1-2, and return to the classroom from 2-5.

How much is it?

The US workshops are $225 per person. International prices will vary.

What should I bring?

Bring as little or as much gear as you want. You'll be practicing and shooting, so be sure to bring what makes you feel comfortable. Also bring a laptop with the editing program you normally use.

Will you travel to my town for a workshop?

Yes! I will travel for groups of 10 or more. If you are interested in hosting a workshop in your area, please use the contact form to email me.

Where is the next workshop?

The next workshop will be held in London, UK on July 23rd. Register here.

Will you hold a workshop in Florida?

There are no current plans for local workshops, but one-on-one mentoring is available. Contact me for details.
